Antonio and Alberto Ascari
The two famous car drivers are buried together in the central area, not far from the crematorium temple. Antonio was born in 1888 and died in 1925, Alberto, born in 1918, died in 1955: they were both 37 years old. The bust of Alberto is Orazio Grossoni's, who made also a bronze bas-relieve; in 1955 Michele Vedani made Antonio's.
