Medardo Rosso in memory of Vincenzo Brusco Onnis

Filippo Filippi tomb

This small masterpiece, not far from E. Bazzaro's tomb, dated 1888 and inaugurated in March 1889, is in memory of Vincenzo Brusco Onnis, a radical republican friend of the artist. It is posed in the central area near the Crematorium Temple - about 600 meters from the entrance gate.

There are other works of Medardo Rosso in the cemetery; my favorite is Filippo Filippi Memorial (1889, East Circuit, n. 325). The artist is buried in the Non-Catholics section, Field 4, n. 119.
